Janet
Receives "Wicker Chair" Award
at Miles of Memories MusicFest
During a "book-talk" session at the 2011
Miles of Memories Country MusicFest, Janet
was presented a tongue-in-cheek "Wicker Chair"
Award referring to her creative use of a wicker
chair during her childhood, as revealed in her
new book, Still Lovin' the Ride.
"Who would have thought that I'd someday receive
an award for our ornery childhood antics," said
Janet. "But rest assured that I'll treasure this
silly award just as much as some of those
"bigger" ones!"

Janet. "We all believe so strongly in the
Museum's mission to preserve the heritage of the
Silver Screen Cowboys and especially the part
that singer/actor/entrepreneur Gene Autry played
in bring cowboy music and films to the attention
